Obituary for CHAVEZ

Juanita Crucita, age 89, passed away peacefully at her home in Los Alamos Saturday morning, May 7, 2005. Juanita was preceded in her death by her infant son, Trinidad Ignacio; daughter, Dolores; sister, Maggie; brother, Herman; and her husband, Trinidad who died November 1986. Juanita is survived by her daughter, Lenora, and son, Anthony, both of Los Alamos, and her oldest son, Dimas, daughter-in-law, Mirian, of Potomac, MD; three grand daughters: Daniela and Dolores also of Potomac, and Ana Cristina Barros and her husband Zeca of Chevy Chase, MD. Juanita is also survived by her brother, Feliciano Chavez wife Reginita and his family of Albuquerque, and Caroline Chavez and her family of Albuquerque. Juanita, Trinidad and family moved to Los Alamos August 1943 where Trinidad was employed by The Zia Company for over thirty years. Juanita and Trinidad were part of the original members of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Los Alamos from 1943 to the time of her death. Juanita will be sincerely missed by family, relatives and countless friends for her cheerful spirit, and lovely smile. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2005, 6:00 p.m. where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Berardinelli Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 13, 2005, 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Los Alamos.
