Shirley After a 10 year struggle with Alzheimer's Disease, Shirley Schroeder was received by the Lord April 13, 2005, hours after her 84th birthday. She is survived by her husband and soul mate, Joseph, attorney and former mayor of Marshall, MI. She viewed raising her children as her life's work and would want you to know her daughter Kathy is a doctor in Albuquerque, NM; son Tom is an attorney creating continuing legal education in Charlotte, NC; daughter Deb is a veterinarian in Madison, WI; son Bill is a computer programmer with Duke University in Durham, NC. Granddaughter Carly is a college sophomore; grandson James, age 14, could always make her laugh. We rejoice that you have shed the cumbersome body that restrained the beautiful spirit we have known - be with the Lord! There will be a Memorial Service Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at La Vida Llena Carter hall at 2:00 p.m.
