Robert 1985-2005 Robert Trujillo, 20, formally of Belen, passed away early Saturday morning, April 30, 2005 in Hillsboro, OR. He was born January 15, 1985 in Albuquerque, NM. He attended Dennis Chavez Elementary School, and Belen High School until he moved to Hillsboro, OR in 1999. He graduated from Century High School in 2003 and began taking classes at Portland Community College. He was an avid coin collector and loved working on his computer. He worked at the "greatest place on earth, Jack in the Box", where he was a shift leader. He was a member of Our Lady of Belen Parish until moving, and was currently a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church. Robert is survived by loving family: his parents, Joseph and Tina; his brother, Christopher; his sister Elizabeth; and his nephew, Michael Prater, all of Hillsboro, OR. He is also survived by his grandparents, Larry and Rachel August, and Sesario and Angelina Trujillo, all of Belen; his aunts and uncles, John and Cheryl Trujillo of Las Cruces, Jerry and Gloria Esquibel of Madison, AL, David Trujillo of Albuquerque, Michael and Katherine Trujillo of Los Lunas, Liza and Dan Bales of Albuquerque, Larry and CJ August of Los Lunas, Lisa August of Albuquerque, Annette and Ken Sandlin of Los Lunas; his best friend, Victor Avila of Beaverton, OR; and many cousins and friends. Robert will be greatly missed. He had a heart of gold and made many friends throughout his life. He will always be loved and never forgotten and we know that is at peace now with our Father in Heaven. A visitation will begin at 6:30 p.m. Thursday May 5, 2005 at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning May 6, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. with Father Stephen Shultz officiating, and burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Trujillo, David Trujillo, Michael Trujillo, Larry August, Patrick Rael, and Victor Avila. Arrangements by Riverside Funeral Home, 418 W. Reinken in Belen.
