Obituary for DURAN

Alfredo Amado Duran, 96, a lifetime resident of New Mexico, and living in Albuquerque, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2005. Alfredo was born June 7, 1908 the son of Jose Inez and Andalesia Gomez Duran in New Mexico. He had worked in construction before retiring. Alfredo was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by three children, Jerry Duran and wife Mary of Albuquerque, Mary Alice Guerin and husband Gene of Albuquerque, and Julius Duran and wife Donna of Bernalillo, NM; one sister, Ramona Jimenez of Clovis, NM; 17 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. The Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m. with the Rosary being recited at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. today, Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave. NE, Albuquerque with Fr. Johnny Lee Chavez as the Celebrant. Interment will follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho. Pallbearers will be Joseph Cramer, Bruce Bogard, Robbie Bogard, Jerry Duran, Jr., Eugene Duran, and Paul Guerin. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary Rio Rancho, New Mexico 892-9920
