Lena Dominguez, age 78, beloved Mother, grandmother, and sister, was called home to with the Lord our Savior, Tuesday, May 3, 2005. Lena was a resident of Bernalillo; and a parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joaquin Dominguez in 2003. Lena is survived by her loving children, Barbara Maestas and husband Donald, Gerry Gleason and husband Gary, Greg Dominguez and wife Kim; her precious grandchildren, Donna Maestas, Jack Maestas and wife Pam, Michael, Wendy, and Amy Gleason, Janan, Jeremy, Jordon, and Michael Dominguez; great-grandchildren, Patrick Nasworthy and Madison Bianco. Also surviving are her sisters, Bella Archibeque and husband Jose C., Isabel Aragon, and Elsie Salas; brothers, Eustaquio Salas and wife Cerelia, and Fernando Salas and wife Lorraine; numerous nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members and friends. Lena will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched. Visitations will be Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 8:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Bernalillo. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 a.m. also at the church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Gary Gleason, Donald Maestas, Jack Maestas, Michael Gleason, Martin Salas, and Greg Dominguez.
