Obituary for CORDOVA

Nazario Cordova was born June 3, 1909 and died Saturday, April 23, 2005. He was born in Cabezon, NM, before New Mexico became a state. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria; a daughter, Cathy Lee; and a grandson, Danny. Nazario is survived by his son, Danny Cordova and wife, Mona; three daughters, Bea Gallegos and husband, Jerry, Theresa Rutherford, and Lucy Marquez; one sister, Senona Zamora; ten grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous other cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved and will greatly miss him. Having lived close to a century, Nazario lived life to the fullest and cared for many people in his lifetime. In the last few years, he was unable to do his favorite things, like gardening and going to the Flea Market. Mr. Cordova will always be remembered for his ability to work hard and never complain about long hours. The family would like to especially thank the Heartland Hospice and staff for their kind and special assistance during Mr. Cordova's last few days. A Memorial Service will be held at Legacy Church, 7201 Central NW, Thursday, April 28, 2005, with Pastor Tony Ramirez officiating. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. NW.
