Theda Joan Gee, 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1976 and coming to New Mexico from Michigan, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2005. Theda was born March 31, 1925 the daughter of Edward and Marie Slivoski in Connecticut. She had been a real estate agent before retiring. Theda was an animal lover and thoroughly enjoyed her dogs, Misty and Sarah. She also was a bingo enthusiast. Theda was a loving mother and grandmother. Theda was preceded in death by one daughter, Victoria. She is survived by four other children, George E. Gee of Albuquerque, James R. Gee and wife, Carolyn of Traverse City, MI, Sherry A. Whitmore and husband, Cory of Red Feather Lakes, CO, and Shelly A. Willey and husband, Kenneth L. of Rio Rancho; seven grandchildren, Kenneth B., Jason, Jennifer, Lacie, Kelly, Brittany, and Desiree; and one brother. Private family services have been held for Theda. In lieu of flowers, it has been suggested that memorial contributions be made in Theda's name to the American Diabetes Association of New Mexico, 2625 Pennsylvania NE, Suite 225, Albuquerque, NM 87110 or going on-line at www.diabetes.org.
