Obituary for GOOCH

Gailand L. Gooch, 52, passed away early Thursday morning, March 24, 2005, after a battle with emphysema. He is survived by his mother; two brothers; three sisters; two daughters; a son-in-law and two grandchildren. Gailand was born in Missouri but has been a long time resident of Albuquerque. He worked several years as an EMT, then as a dispatcher for Albuquerque Ambulance; after that he was a table dealer at Camelrock Casino and San Felipe's Casino Hollywood. He then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he worked as a table dealer at the Orleans Casino for about five years. Gailand then returned to Albuquerque to spend his last few months with his daughters and grandchildren. A memorial services will be held on Tuesday, March 29,2005 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW.
