Lucy Garcia, 83, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, March 26, 2005, surrounded by her loving family. Lucy is survived by her husband of 54 years, John A. Garcia of Albuquerque; two sisters, Odelia and husband, Lee Montoya of Albuquerque and Amalia and husband, Rev. BJ Choice, Sr. of Hobbs, NM; sisters-in-law, Beatrice Zozoya and Agnes Lujan; brothers-in-law, Tom Garcia and Gilbert Duran, Sr.; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends. Lucy was a devoted parishioner of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church for 54 years. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends. Rosary will be recited Monday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Mass will be Celebrated Tuesday, 9:30 a.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Claremont NE. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brian Amberg, Ron Amberg, Christopher Lopez, Bart Castillo, Gilbert Duran Jr. and BJ Choice Sr. French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE 843-6333
