Willie Mae Doswell, 82, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2005. She is survived by her son, Benjamin Doswell and wife, Carolyn of Austin, TX; daughter, Jacquelyn Buckhanan of Albuquerque; sister, Frankie Mae Cornish and husband, Joe of Clovis, NM; two grandsons, Steven Buckhanan and wife, Veda, of Albuquerque and Rev. Shawn Buckhanan and wife, Rosalind of Sierra Vista, AZ. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilhelm Doswell and her son, George K. Buckhanan. Willie Mae was a past Grand Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star, Queen of Sheeba Order. A visitation for Ms. Doswell will be Wednesday, March 30, 2005 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Chapel of Sunrise, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE. A Homegoing Celebration will immediately follow at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Michael R. Sumbry to officiate. Cremation will follow services.
