Violet (Sissy) Birrell, born November 21, 1929 in Albuquerque, died Friday, March 18, 2005. Violet was welcomed into heaven by her husband, Gene. She is survived by her son, Gene Birrell and wife, Dianna; daughters, Sandy Smith and husband, Carl and Nancy Cox and husband, Robbie; grandchildren, Jennifer, Justin, Lane, Brian, Diana, Chad, Ashley, and Victoria; two sisters, Juanita Ports and Freida Everett and husband, Roy; two brothers, Fred Westerfeld and Norman Westerfeld and wife, Sandy; and sister-in-law, Jane Westerfeld. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene and brother, Art Westerfeld. Services will be held on Wednesday, 3:00 p.m., French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating.
