Rita B. Armijo went home to be with the Lord on March 19, 2005 at the age of 73. She was born on March 20, 1931 in Dawson, NM. She was preceded in death by her son, Andy Joseph Armijo. Mrs. Armijo is survived by her husband, Antonio E. Armijo Sr.; sons, Gory Armijo, Antonio Armijo Jr., and Michael Armijo and Bertha Pacheco; daughters, Shelma Armijo, Christina Armijo and Leroy Valles, and Gloria Garcia and Pete Sena; brother, Daniel Borrego and Vicky Archibeque; sister, Louisa Salazar and husband, Paul; grandson, Derek Armijo; and many nieces and nephews. Rita will be deeply missed by all. Visitations will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tito Sandoval, Pete Sena, Adolfo Garcia, Jason Garica, Cruz Gonzales, and Randy Stevens.
