Ernest Edward Brown, 87, a resident of Clovis, NM, died Wednesday, March 16, 2005. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Aulena J. Brown of Clovis, NM; daughters, Darline Howard and husband, Don of Clovis, NM, Kathrine Powers of Mesa, AZ; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three great- great-grandchildren; sister, Lucille Blaine of Riverbank, CA. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his sons, James Ernest Brown and Walter Edward Brown; daughter, Frances Wanda Scott; and sister, Edith Estes. He moved to New Mexico in 1928 from Oklahoma. Mr. Brown lived in Albuquerque for 57 years prior to moving to Clovis in 1997. He retired from Swartzman Packing Co. in 1982 after 42 years of service. Graveside Services will be held Monday, March 21, 2005, at 10:00 a.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd, NE.
