Obituary for LOVATO

Fred W. Lovato, age 92 and a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 10, 2005. Fred retired in 1973 from Sandia National Laboratories. He loved going to Pecos and staying at home with his wife, Frances. Fred is survived by his only daughter, Linda Lovato-Montoya; his son-in-law, Martin Montoya and granddaughter, Victoria Montoya; many nieces, nephews, and very special friends also survive Fred. In particular, Fred {Nino) had eight nephews whom he considered his sons, Leroy Barboa (wife Theresa), Lee Joe Anzures (wife Helen), Alfonso Anzures (deceased), Pat Anzures (wife Johnna), Mike Anzures (wife Ginger), Frank Anzures (wife Cathy), Fred Anzures, and Sam Anzures (wife Penny). Memorial Services will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Avenue., NW, with the time and date pending. Fred will be cremated and buried at the Veterans National Cemetery in Santa Fe. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association and Vista Care Hospice.
