Robert "Bob" Andrew Swanson, 61, a resident of Albuquerque for the past three and a half years, and formerly of Farmington, NM since 1989, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2005. Bob was born November 3, 1943 in Wisconsin. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the DAV Chapter in Aztec, NM. Bob enjoyed all outdoor activities, hunting, fishing, and camping. He also enjoyed traveling and seeing different parts of the country. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Lynn, in 1972. He is survived by his son, Michael Swanson (U.S. Navy, Kuwait); and special friend, John Garcia of Aztec, NM. A Graveside Service will be held for Bob on Monday, March 14, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe with Military Honors presented by the U.S. Army Honor Guard.
