Annie Maxine Lindsey, 84, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 8, 2005, at Simple Pleasures Senior Care in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 11, 2005 at French Mortuary at 7121 Wyoming Boulevard NE. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Annie Maxine (or "Tissie," as she was known to her family) was born on January 7, 1921, in Monahans, TX. She worked in Midland, TX, for the oil industry, eventually moving to Albuquerque, where she met the love of her life, Coy Lindsey. They were married in Alamogordo in 1957 and made their residence in Albuquerque, where they enjoyed forty years together. Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Coy; by her mother and father, M. B. and Katharine Aline Pitzer; and by her three brothers; Preston Knox Pitzer, Jack Albert Pitzer, and David B. Pitzer. She is survived by her sister, Katherine Adele Waller; by her cousin, James Mogford; and by numerous other relatives, including her special niece, Jenifer Saltzman. Throughout her life, Maxine was an independent businesswoman who loved her family and her work. She was devoted to Coy, lovingly caring for him until his earthy departure in 1997. Maxine loved to give, continually purchasing presents for her loved ones and donating liberally to Christian organizations and to those in need. She will be greatly missed by those dear to her.
