Donald A. Gunderson, 80, a resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, March 5, 2005. He is survived by his cousin, Colleen Scott. Mr. Gunderson serviced in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946, a Seaman First Class aboard the U.S.S. Foote. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a Sergeant from 1947 to 1950 and then served as a Technical Sergeant in the U. S. Air Force from 1950 to 1966. He was awarded numerous commendations. Mr. Gunderson was active in theater groups in Florida during the 1960s and 70s as ACTA Director, Board of Directors, Technical Director and Producer of numerous plays. He was a member of Sheriffs' and Police Departments in Florida during the 1970s. Cremation has taken place, and cremains will be buried at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
