Obituary for DYE

Roberta Wilson Dye (Bertie), age 75, died on March 3, 2005 after a long illness. She grew up on her parents' ranch near Melstone, MT, the daughter of Jim and Marie Wilson, who preceded her in death. She graduated from Montana State College in Bozeman with a Bachelor of Science Degree. She worked in Albuquerque as an illustrator for Lytel Corporation, and later for Value House. She was a member of the National League of Penwomen, Yucca Branch, and the Sanado Woman's Club. She was active in the National Wildlife Federation. For several years she was a member of the Yucca Art Gallery in Old Town, Albuquerque. She was listed in the national registry of "Wko's Who in American Women." Her beloved animals, her constant companions, will be cared for by her son, Steve. She was preceeded in death by her son, Kenneth Dye and her sister, Marion Ashby. She is survived by one son, Steven Dye of Albuquerque, who was her care-giver for her last few months; and one brother, James Wilson of the Wilson ranch in Montana. Interment and Graveside Services will be held in the cemetery on the Wilson ranch in Montana.
