Ruth Harriet Rivet Lohr Castanier, age 82, passed away at her home early Saturday, March 5, 2005. Mrs. Castanier was born in Detroit, MI January 8, 1923, but lived most of her life in Bay City, MI, until she and her husband, Charles Richard (Dick) Castanier, moved to Albuquerque five years ago. She was born to the late Lawrence Rivet and Mabel Morehouse. Two brothers, James and Lawrence, Jr. who died in infancy also preceded in her death. She is survived by her husband of 60 years and four children; Susan (Ken) Schroeder of Albuquerque, Sherri (Pete) Ortiz of Seattle, WA, Rebecca (Tim) Nohl of Seattle, WA, and Richard (Angie) Castanier of Muskegon, MI. Also survived by eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and her sister, Geraldine (Adair) Harvin of Baton Rouge, LA. There will be a visitation and viewing from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday March 8, 2005 at Chapel of Sunrise. The funeral mass will be said Wednesday 10:00 a.m., March 9, 2005 at the Risen Savior Catholic Church on Wyoming, with Interment at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
