Rex J. Breeding, age 69, passed away Friday, March 4, 2005. He is survived by his domestic partner, Anna Segura; son, Evan J. Breeding of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Lisa A. Cloyed of Ft. Madison, IA; grandchildren, Rochel Breeding of Burlington, IA, Adam Robert Cloyed of Bellview, FL, Samantha J. Breeding of Albuquerque, NM; great-grandchildren, Emma DeWeef of Albuquerque and Heavyn Leigh Breeding of Burlington, IA; special friend, Maurice Towne of Albuquerque, NM. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carole Breeding and son, Robert A. Breeding. Rex worked as a chemist for Ortho Chemical, as an Air Traffic Controller, a construction superintendent and as a small business owner. He was an avid outdoorsman, well known in the Rio Grande Valley Waterfowl circles, considered as a world class wingshot, recently returning from a caribou hunt in Northwest Territories, Canada. He enjoyed dancing and traveling. Rex graduated from Iowa State University top in his class. Services will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at 3:30 p.m. at the French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel.
