Lois Lee Santilli, 91, a resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, March 4, 2005. Lois is survived by her husband of 52 years, Alcide Santilli; twin sister, Louise Lee; niece, Mary Ann Mayfield and husband, Bob of Las Cruces, NM; nephew, John Lee and wife, Ruth of Elephant Butte, NM; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Eugene Lee and sister, Ruth Palmer. Lois was the daughter of Dr. John David and Lilly Lee who moved their family to New Mexico from Alabama in the 1920s. They were lifelong members of Baptist Churches in the South and First Baptist Church in Albuquerque. She was a graduate of UNM and a lifetime teacher for the Albuquerque Public Schools. Lois and Al had an exciting and interesting life during Al's tenure as an officer in the US Army spending time in Asia, Europe, and also on the east coast of the United States. Services will be held Monday, March 7, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, with Rev. Steve Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE 843-6333
