Marvin H. Heying, 79, a resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, March 4, 2005. He is survived by children, Jerry Heying of LaPorte, IN, Kenneth Heying and wife, Patricia of Michigan City, IN, Rebecca Anstett and husband, Glenn of Albuquerque, Joseph Heying of South Bend, IN, Daniel Heying of Albuquerque, Mary Voreis and husband, Timothy of South Bend, IN, James Heying and wife, Stacey of Plymouth, IN and Michael Heying and wife, Denise of Mishawaka, IN; 21 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorene Leo and husband, Guido of Des Moines, IA; brother, Ronald Heying of Des Moines, IA; and special friend, Shirley Smith-Hull of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth and brother, Virgil. Marvin worked for many years in the insurance business. Marvin "Big Dads" loved the Cubs and was a sports announcer at WIMS Radio in Michigan City, IN. He was a friendly person who loved everyone he met and never met a stranger. Marv loved to sing, especially to his grandchildren and always a Happy Birthday song to his children and loved ones. "See you in the movies." Love, your children. Love and peace.
