Jane Harris Lewis Waterman, 85, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, February 28, 2005. She is survived by her son, Larry L. Lewis of Aurora, CO; daughter, Bonnie Earp and her husband, Jesse of Tyler, TX; brother, Frank B. Gilmer of Albuquerque; two granddaughters; two grandsons; and six great-grandchildren. Jane was preceded in death by her first husband, Alford Lewis and second husband, L. Grant Waterman. She was a 1938 graduate of Albuquerque High School and a longtime member of First Baptist Church. Jane lived an active life including hiking, fishing, swimming, camping, bowling, and roller skating. She was also a member of the Los Gitanos Campers Group. Jane was a former resident of Vista Del Rio Retirement Center. Services will be held Friday, 2:00 p.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd.NE, with Pastor Steve Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
