Obituary for ANDERSON

COL (Ret) Edward G. Anderson, Jr., a resident of Albuquerque for 32 years, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005. Ed served 30 dedicated years in the U.S. Army and is a highly decorated veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was an active and devoted Mason and member of the Ballut Abyad Shriners, having served as Aide Emeritus to the Potentate and serving in the Royal Order of Jesters, and a member of the Patrol. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Virginia Anderson of Albuquerque; son, LTG (Ret) Edward G. Anderson, III and wife, Ann, of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter, Cheryl Ney and husband, Richard of Thousand Oaks, CA; grandchildren, MAJ Edward G. Anderson, IV of Colorado Springs, CO; Lisa and husband, MAJ John Dill, of Elbert, CO,;Scott Anderson of Kansas City, KS; CPT Alexander Ney and wife, Rachel, of Sanford, NC; Justin Ney of Thousand Oaks, CA; great-grandchildren, Katie and Krista Anderson and Natalie and Claudia Anderson. Services will be held Saturday, March 5, 2005, 3:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Burial will take place in Arlington National Cemetery. Friends may visit Friday, March 4, 2005 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel.
