Roger Dennis Moyers, 50, of Moriarty, NM, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2005 in Moriarty, NM. He was born on February 19, 1955 in East St. Louis, IL to Robert Edgar and Dollie Madine (Allen) Moyers. Roger married Susan Joan Halliburton on May 31, 1975 in Mayer, AZ. He worked as an aircraft engine mechanic. Roger was an Air Force veteran. Roger is survived by his wife, Susan; his mother Dollie and her husband Phillip Riemenschneider; sons, Roger Allen Moyers and his fiance Shantell Sickler, and Robert Charles Moyers; daughter Sarah Ann and her husband Brock Allen Goodwin; brothers, Michael Moyers, Stephen Moyers, and Dale Moyers; grandson Joshua Coby Goodwin; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Edgar Moyers. Roger will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and friend. Roger will lie-in-state on Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM Funeral Services will be held at the Moriarty Civic Center on Thursday, March 3, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in Moriarty, NM. Howard McCall will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Moyers, Stephen Moyers, Dale Moyers, Ruben Chaves, Jess Segura, Kevin McCall, and Larry Gallant. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger's sons, Roger Moyers, Robert Moyers, Brock Goodwin, and his grandson, Joshua Coby Goodwin. Interment will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM on Friday, March 4, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the Albuquerque Christian Children's Home, 5700 Winter Haven Road NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120.
