Minnie R. Garcia, 87, died Thursday, February 24, 2005. Minnie was born in San Pedro, NM to Jacob and Agnes Krummick. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Tony Garcia of Albuquerque; daughter, Loretta Sanchez of Albuquerque; grandsons, Robert Sanchez and wife, Lori, and Richard Sanchez, all of Albuquerque; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Zachary, Noah and Daniel all of Albuquerque; sisters, Mary Luna of Albuquerque and Ida Pacheco of Salida, CO; and many nieces and nephews. Minnie was preceded in death by her infant son, Leonard Garcia. Minnie was a granddaughter of Jacob Krummick, the first pharmacist in Santa Fe. Her aunt was married to Miguel Chavez, the founder of St. Michael's College of Santa Fe. She was a long time member to Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Rosary will be recited on Sunday, 3:00 p.m., Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 9502 4th Street NW. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, 9:00 a.m., Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Interment will follow at San Carlos Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Sanchez, Richard Sanchez, Patrick Garcia, Larry Luna, Fred Pena, and Polo Lovato.
