CARRIE L. Funeral Services for Carrie L. Williams will be held on Monday, February 28, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Christian Center Church, located at 4024 College Lane in Hobbs. Rev. Kevin Williams and Rev. Wayne Villar will officiate. Carrie was born on August 31, 1945 in Malvern, AR to D.C. and Bernice Burris. She married Larry Williams on September 11, 1964 in Hobbs, NM. Mrs. Williams passed away on February 24, 2005 at her residence in Hobbs. Survivors include her husband, Larry, of the home; her parents, D.C. and Bernice Burris of Albuquerque, NM; children, Kevin Williams and his wife, DeAnn of Cushing, OK and their children, Petra and Breona; and Kimberly Hawkins and her husband, Kevin of Hobbs and their children, Chance, Tallon, Sky, and Keely; sisters, Coy Wilson and her husband, Bill of Albuquerque, and Jean Ann Carruth of Albuquerque; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Nadine Adams of Battle Mountain, NV. She was preceded in death by three grandchildren: Autumn, Keegan, and Chanley Hawkins. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Christian Center Church and Cowboy Junction. She was the children's minister at the Christian Center. The family will be present during visitation on Sunday, February 27, 2005 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Duncan-May Funeral Home, to whom services have been entrusted.
