Joseph C. Martin, 74, died after a lengthy but courageous battle with several health problems. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kay Martin; three daughters, Becky Pearce and husband, Monty of Jacksonville, FL, Mary Lanctot and husband, Tony of Wake Forrest, NC, and Trish Forsythe and husband, Ray of Albuquerque; and five grandchildren, Gary and Kevin Pearce, Natalie and Betsy Lanctot, and Rebecca Forsythe. Joe served his country for 32 years in the Army and US Air Force, loved fishing and gardening, and was a big fan of Billy Graham. His daughters want him to be remembered for his enormous generosity and ever lasting love. Services will be held on Monday, February 28, 2005 at 12:00 noon at French Mortuary - Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Friends may visit French Mortuary on Sunday, February 27, 2005 from 5-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the ASPCA, 441 East 92nd St, New York, NY 10128, or the National Wildlife Federation, National Wildlife Federation, Wildlife Center Drive, Reston, VA 20190-5362.
