Patricia Charlene (Pat) Valdes Gallegos, 66, of Albuquerque, formerly of Santa Fe, passed away peacefully due to a sudden illness on February 14, 2005. Pat retired from Mountain Bell Telephone with 32 years of service and joined her husband, Alfred R. "Tommy" Gallegos at Superior Insurance Services before moving to Albuquerque and starting Insurance Plans Unlimited, also with her husband. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Conrad and Maxine Valdes; brother, George Valdes; and father-in-law, Bonnie Gallegos. Pat will be missed by her children, Mike Gallegos and wife, Jana, Lynette Gallegos and companion, Randy Nez and son-in-law, Chris Mayrant; her five grandchildren, Justin Mayrant, Amanda Mayrant, Cody Gallegos, Charlene Gallegos, and Alana Mayrant; her mother-in-law, Julia Gallegos; her brothers-in-law, Ernest Gallegos and wife, Lucy, Albert Gallegos and wife, Annabelle, Louis Gallegos and wife, Bea, and Danny Gallegos; and her numerous nieces, nephews, and friends that she loved dearly. Honorary pallbearers are Jim Duncan, Lynn Jarry, Ernest Gallegos, Danny Miller, Lonnie Gallegos, Terry Mosley, Michael Buszek, Paul Longoria, Gene Valdes, and Mark Valdes. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Patricia C. Gallegos through any First State Bank throughout New Mexico. Donations will be given to the Santa Fe 4-H County Council. A Rosary will be recited Monday, February 21, 2005, 7:00 p.m. at Berardinelli Family Chapel. A Memorial Mass will be conducted Tuesday, February 22, 2005, 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Cathedral.
