Obituary for BURNETT

Edgar R. Burnett, 84, a resident of Jarales, passed away on Thursday February 17, 2005. He retired from the Santa Fe Railroad after 42 years of service. He had an apple orchard, and everyone knew that they could get the best apples at Ed's. Edgar is survived by his loving family, his wife Louise of Jarales; his daughters Joyce Porter and her husband Larry of North Carolina, Brenda Porter of Jarales, Debbie Jackson of Belen, and Kay Boronda; his sons Jim E. Burnett and his wife Karen of Oklahoma, John A. Burnett and his wife Carol of Socorro, Danny Jackson of Belen, and Robert Jackson of Belen; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A visitation will take place on Sunday, February 20, 2005 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Riverside Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Monday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at Riverside Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Boyd Morerod officiating. Burial will follow in Terrace Grove Cemetery.
