Phyllis J. Harvey Born in Dayton, OH on October 8, 1927 Departed on February 5, 2005 and resided in Albuquerque, NM. Phyllis Jean Harvey, 78, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2005 after her courageous battle with cancer for five years. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert D Harvey, of Albuquerque; and children; daughters, Sandra Mitchell of Taylor, MI and her husband, Ron, Deborah Haddy of Phoenix, AZ and her husband, Mike, Beverly Harvey of Arvada, CO and her husband, Ron, Carol Reese of Boise, ID and her husband, Mark; sons, Robert Harvey of Oakboro, NC and his wife, Georgia, John Harvey of Avondale, AZ and his wife, Dawn, and David DelSanto of Albuquerque, NM; 18 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Harvey was preceded in death by her father, Lionel Fitzgerald; and her mother, Edna and husband, Harold Whitman. Phyllis was born in Dayton, OH on October 8, 1927 and married Robert Deforest Harvey on April 28, 1944 in Sioux City, IA. As a military wife she traveled with her family all over the world and has resided in Albuquerque for the last 32 years after her husband's retirement from a 30 year US Air Force career. Phyllis leaves a legacy of dedicating her life to her husband and family. She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church, 414 Charleston SE, Albuquerque, NM 87198. 505-266-5902.
