Obituary for LOVATO

Victor. Mr. Victor Lovato, 73, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on February 5, 2005 in the loving arms of his family. Mr. Lovato is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Mrs. Becky Lovato; three sons, Michael Lovato and wife, Barbara, Victor Lovato and wife, Charlotte, and Lenny Lovato; eight sisters, Flora Armijo and husband, Orlando, Dora Pacias, Barbara Chavez and husband, Charlie, Jenny Lovato, Christy Ortega, Eva Lucero and husband, Prospero, Lorraine Alvarez, and Anna Lovato; four brothers, Carlos Lovato, and wife, Andrea, Larry Lovato and wife, Elaine, Tony Lovato, Gilbert Lovato and wife, Marcella; eight grandchildren, Michael Jr., Clifford, Joshua, Lenny Richard, Adelina, Lynae, Francisco, and Jessica; brother in law, Teddy Padilla; two Godchildren, Lawrence Padilla and Miranda Lopez; three former daughters in law, Paula, Denise and Mary Jane; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Lovato was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Maria Lovato; one son, Tommy Lovato; and sister Ramona Padilla. Mr. Lovato was a member of the Catholic Church, a Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in the Korean Conflict, a life member and past commander of DAV Chapter 3, and a member of the American Legion Post 13 . A visitation for Mr. Lovato will be Thursday morning at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW, from 8:30am until 9:00 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 9:00 a.m.; a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Cremation has taken place at his request.
