Rufina Leyba, age 85, was born in Leyba, NM to Lucianita and Enrique Leyba, and went to be with her Savior, Wednesday, February 2, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie and six children. Rufina is survived by two daughters and four sons; AnnaBell, Ruthie, Robert, Jackie and wife, Esther, Roy Anthony and Dino; her sisters, Gertrude Varela and Ruby Yost; brothers, Miguel and Pete Leyba; her grandchildren include: Diana, Mark, Katrina, Robert William, Christina, Jennifer, Jackie Leroy, Joseph and Darryl; 11 great-grandchildren; many other family and friends who loved and will miss her. A viewing and visitation will be held in the Chapel of Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW., on Friday, February 4, 2005, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Entombment services will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Chapel, 1900 Edith NE., on Saturday, February 5, 2005 at 9:45 a.m. Our mom in her quiet and dignified way treasured the love you gave her.
