Jerry E. (Red) Daniel, 57, a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his loving family after losing his battle with cancer, and was welcomed into heaven on February 2, 2005. Red is the beloved husband to Mrs. Irene Daniel, married for 35 years. Red is also survived by his children, Theresa and husband, Ronald, Ramona and husband, Robert, Jerry and girlfriend, Lesley; six grandchildren, Ronald Jr. and girlfriend, Natalie, Evangelina, Camille, Anthony, Naleah and Ryan; his mother in law, Mrs. Lucy Garcia; his mother, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Red was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in the Vietnam Era, he was long time member of the Brotherhood Local #1319 carpenters union. A visitation for Red will be Friday evening at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Trinie and Valerio Lucero. A final visitation will be Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery with Military Honors. Pallbearers will be Jerry Jr., Ronald Sr., Ronald Jr., Robert, Damacio, and Butch. Honorary Pallbearers will be, James, Frank Sr., Frank Jr., Junius, and Dennis.
