Lawrence Edward. Mr. Lawrence Edward Padilla, 52, born April 20, 1952, in Alamogordo, NM and a resident of Albuquerque, passed on to a better life, Sunday, January 23, 2005, following a short illness. Edward is the beloved husband to Mrs. Deborah (Ginger) Padilla, married for 12 years. Edward is also survived by one son, Eddie Ray Padilla; his mother, Mrs. Marie Padilla; two sisters, Gloria Solis and Linda Cooper; one brother, Johnny R. Padilla; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Edward was preceded in death by his father, Raymond C. Padilla Jr. and a brother, Fred David Padilla. Edward was a member of the Catholic Church and was retired from the City of Albuquerque. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. A Memorial Rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. January 27, 2005, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW by Logie Turrietta. A final visitation will be Friday morning at Holy Family Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place.
