Obituary for WHITAKER

William J. Whitaker, 82, was born Saturday, October 7, 1922 in Texas and died Wednesday, January 19, 2005 in Jemez Springs, NM. He is survived by his wife, Allean Whitaker; his three daughters, Kathy Clark, Darla and Jacque Whitaker; granddaughter, Lindsy Whitaker and step-children, Donald Hartley, Wanda J. Hartley-Keaten and Allen Hartley. Jack was member of American Legion for 59 years. He belonged to Zia Roamers Chapter of Good Sam's Club. Jack helped organize the Senior Olympics of Sandoval County. He served his country in the US Army and New Mexico National Guard for 35 years. Services will be given by Rev. Richard M. Clymer on Wednesday, January 26, 2005, 12 noon, at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE in Albuquerque. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM. There will also be a Fellowship Potluck at the Presbyterian Church in Jemez Springs, NM, 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 29, 2005. French Mortuary 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE 823-9400
