Frances Roland. Graveside services for Frances Roland Jackson, 83, will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 20, 2005 at Ringling Memorial Cemetery in Ringling, OK. Born on November 23, 1921 to George and Maude Trotter Roland, she died January 18, 2005 at an Ardmore, OK hospital. Frances married Dana B. Jackson on March 9, 1940, and he preceded her in death on November 17, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, J.B. and Roy Roland. Frances graduated valedictorian of her class at Ringling High School. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the First United Methodist Church in Ringling. Survivors include two sons, Van R. Jackson of Ringling and Biff Jackson and wife, Frances Ann of Ringling; step-daughter, Jana Jackson Tessier and husband, John of Corona, CA; sister, Joy Morris of Ringling; grandsons, John T. Jackson and wife, Gayla, of Roff, OK and Dana B. Jackson III and wife, Susan of Sherwood AR; great-grandchild, Jessey Thompson of Roff; special nieces and nephews, Betty Turner and husband, Mike, K.T. Tripp, and Jeff Turner. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the First United Methodist Church in Ringling.
