Catherine Jane Cotinola "Katie," was born January 6, 1945 and passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2005. Our beloved Katie has left us for a better place beside God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Priscilla Cotinola; son, Timmy Chavez; brother, Sonny Cotinola; and sister, Esther Lucero. Katie is survived by her sons, Tommy Chavez and wife, Priscilla, and Henry Chavez; sisters, Susan, Sandra, and Angie; brothers, Gilbert, Ronny, and Rossie; 11 grandchildren; one great grandchild; fiance, Michael Gonzales; numerous other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Katie, we love you and thank you for all of the laughter you have brought into all of our lives. You will be greatly missed. Services will be held at Legacy Church, 7201 Central Ave. NW, on Thursday, January 20, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Private family burial will follow. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. NW.
