Charles (Charlie) Edward Newman, 81, died peacefully on Saturday morning, January 15, 2005. Charlie was a long time resident of Albuquerque. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his strong loving spirit. His greatest passion was for the game of golf. Charlie is survived by his devoted wife, Dorothy; children, Ann (Dennis) Stein, Kathy (Terry) Stanley, Chuck (Karen) Newman, Don (Denise) Newman, Sue Katz, Charlie Rodenbeek; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of the ICU unit at West Mesa Medial Center for their compassionate care. Cremation has taken place and there will be no local services.
