Margaret Prince Guerra, 59, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, peacefully passed away at home after a 5 1 /2 year battle with mantle cell lymphoma. She died with her family present on Friday, the 7th of January, 2005. Margaret (Margo to her friends and family) was born on February 24, 1945 in Arlington, MA. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Bill Guerra Sr., her sister, Dorothy Son; her brother, Jack Prince; her daughter, Gigi Guerra, her son, Bill Guerra Jr., his wife, Marisa Romero-Guerra; and her grandchildren, Marty Guerra, Phaedra Guerra, and Aden Guerra. Margo, an energetic, passionate woman, had many pursuits in life: library founder and patron, avid voter, traveler, volunteer driver for the American Cancer Society, volunteer cook for the homeless, volunteer knitter for the Merchant Marines, PTA President, PTA volunteer, Girl Scout leader, Cub Scout Den Mother, Laubach Literacy Tutor, National Honor Society member, skiier, swimmer, wolf alter-ego, herb gardener, wilderness camper, golfer, prankster, and practical joker. She was also a craft lover and enjoyed quilting, sewing, calligraphy, crocheting, knitting, basket-weaving, cross-stitching, crewel embroidery, candlewicking, punch tin ornaments, wreath-weaving, macrame, painting, photography, quilling, stamping, greeting card making, oil painting, watercolor painting, charcoal, pastels, silkscreening, wood block printing, jewelry making, and silversmithing.
