Obituary for HOFFMAN

Richard J. Hoffman, age 72, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, was called home to the Lord Thursday, January 6, 2005. Richard was born in Bronx, New York, March 25, 1932. He became a New York City police officer in 1953 and after two years as a patrolman, was drafted into the United States Army and served his country as a military police officer. After his honorable discharge he returned to the New York Police Department as a motorcycle policeman, eventually retiring as a Narcotics Detective. He retired in 1977 to Albuquerque. He leaves his loving family, wife Patricia, daughter Karen, son Kenneth, grandchildren Kathy, Kevin and Cassaundra. Rosary will be recited on Sunday, January 9, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Services will be held on Monday, January 10, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. at St. John the XXIII, 4831 Tramway Ridge NE. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
