Margaret Kalberkamp Gillum passed into our Lord's hands on January 3, 2005 after an extended illness. Margaret was born in Centralia, IL to James and Alene Reed on October 28, 1914. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, F.J. Bud Kalberkamp; and good friend, Al Martin. She graduated from Washington Blvd. Hospital in Chicago, and was an R.N. until her marriage. Several years later, she graduated from McKendree College and taught school for several years in Illinois and Colorado. Margaret enjoyed playing bridge, dancing, and traveling. In her travels, she visited all fifty states and seven continents. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Judy and husband, Sonny Robbins; grandson, Matthew and wife, Michelle; granddaughter, Susan and husband, Michael Buttafuoco; great-grandchildren, Cyrus, Mikala, Frank, and Jacklyn; a sister, Jimmie Joanne Gordon; a brother, Jack Reed and wife, Doris; a niece; and several nephews. A special thank-you goes out to the caregivers and staff at Haven Care and Amber Care Hospice. Your support was greatly appreciated. A private service will be held following cremation.
