Cheryl Louise Wase, 53, a resident of Albuquerque for the past 25 years, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2004. Cheryl was born June 12, 1951 the daughter of Arthur William and Jane Francy Wase in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Cheryl received her Bachelors Degree from Rutgers University, and a Master Degree in Archeology from Columbia University. She was a member of the American Archeological Society. Cheryl was adventuresome; she loved her work, especially doing research in the Pueblo Indians studies. She also liked to sing, and she loved her cats. Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Arthur and her brother, Peter Ives. She is survived by her mother, Jane Francy Wase. A Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, January 4, 2005 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. It has been suggested that Memorial contributions be made in Cheryl's name to the Barrett House, 905 13th Street NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102.
