Obituary for HENRY

Frank Elwin Henry, 96, died on Monday, December 20, 2004 after a brief illness. He is preceded in death by his wife, Clara, and a son, Bill. He is survived by a daughter-in-law, Barbara Henry, of Hagerstown, MD; three sons, Bob Henry, of Albuquerque, Don Henry and wife, Ann, of Rio Rancho, and Ron Henry of Dallas, TX; eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a brother, D.E. and wife, Billie Henry, of Longview, TX; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Henry, of Albuquerque. Frank was born the second oldest of eleven children. He grew up in Clayton, NM and retired from the New Mexico State Highway Department in 1971. He was also a lifetime member of the local B.P.O.E. After retirement, he volunteered at the New Mexico State Fair and many U.N.M. Lobo sporting events. Throughout his long life, he supported family, friends and community in many ways. A Memorial service will be held Friday, January 7, 2005 at 2:00pm at The Chapel of Sunrise, 7601 Wyoming Blvd, NE, Albuquerque, NM.
