Dorothy M. Eifert. Memorial services are pending for Dorothy M. Eifert, 88, formerly of Norfolk, NE. She died on December 24, 2004 in Albuquerque, NM where she was living near her daughter, Marilyn Eifert. She was born on May 12, 1916 to Jesse and Beatrice Barlow in Kearney, NE. She attended school in Kearney and graduated from Kearney High School in May of 1934. On August 4, 1936, she married Howard Eifert in Holdrege, NE. They lived in Wausa, NE for 35 years, then lived in Kerrville, TX until 1991 when she came to Norfolk, NE. Survivors include seven sons and three daughters: William and Melba of Bauldwin, MS, Robert and Mary of Kingsland, TX, Don of Mansfield, TX, Charles and Cathy of Tullahoma, TN, James and Kathy of Ponca, NE, Eldon, and Michael of Kerrville, TX, and daughters, Betty Graziano of Horseshoe Bay, TX, Marilyn Eifert of Albuquerque, NM, and Carolyn and Doug Nolze of Stanton, NE; twenty-six grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and three sisters.
