Obituary for GARCIA

Johnny "Molina" Garcia, 73, born in Peralta, NM, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on December 18, 2004. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Eutimia Garcia; daughters, Annie and husband Alex Echeribel of Tucson, AZ, Cynthia and husband Marvin Garcia, Ginger and husband Larry Lovato, Becky Garcia and Sam Flores; sons, Manuel and David Garcia; sister Mela Maez; brothers, Osben, Henny, Florenio, Carlos, Lupe, and George Garcia; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Amalia Garcia; brothers, Albert Garcia, Cande Garcia, and sister Lorena Martinez. Mr. Garcia served in the Korean War under company G 63rd Infantry regiment in Fort Ord, California. He retired from Atchinson, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway as a painter and carmen. He was a master barber. He played basketball for Los Lunas High School. He worked the last ten years at Hidden Valley Resort. He was a true handyman. Pallbearers will be Daniel Garcia, Joe Garcia, Raymond Maez, David Maez, Carlos Garcia, and Marvin Garcia. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Garcia, Alejandro Echeribel Jr., David Martinez, and Mike Kehoe. All that knew him will miss him dearly. Services will be held at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel at 10:00 a.m. on December 23, 2004 with burial to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. French Mortuary 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE 275-3500
