Ellis L. Roper, 90, a resident of New Mexico since 1952, died Wednesday, December 15, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Roper; son, Ellis L. "Pete" Roper of Columbus, NM; daughter, Patricia With and husband, Jerry of Albuquerque and three grandchildren, Jennifer Roper, and Jerry, Jr. and Philip With. Mr. Roper was born Wednesday, July 15, 1914 in Washington, NC. He was a graduate of North Carolina State and then worked at Sandia Labs in Albuquerque until his retirement. Mr. Roper was a member of St. Michael's and All Angels Episcopal Church. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
