Obituary for COCA

Anthony (Tony) Will Coca left this world peacefully on Monday, December 13, 2004 to join his parents, Marcella Will and Alfredo Coca Sr. and his beloved grandson, David Coca. Tony was born August 2, 1920, in Las Vegas, NM. He attended school there until he entered the Army Air Corps, where he served 5 years. He was employed at the LASL (LANL) in Los Alamos until his retirement in 1982. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Elizabeth; son, Michael Anthony; daughter Eileen Mraule and husband, John; grandson, Anthony Will; granddaughters, Lisa Bettle, Erikka Mraule; Aimee Penny; and great-grandchildren, Maxwell Bettle, Orquidea, Liliana, and Jasmine Penny. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Alfredo Jr., and Frank; and grandson, David Coca. Tony was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Los Alamos for 56 years, and was active in the Los Alamos Chapter of The Knights of Columbus, the American Legion Post 90, the DAV, and a member of the Carpenter's Union. Rosary will be held Thursday, December 16, 2004, 7:00 p.m., at Sangre de Cristo Church, 8901 Candelaria NE. A funeral mass will be held Friday, December 17, 2004, 11:00 a.m., at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Los Alamos. Interment of cremated remains will follow at 3:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
