Obituary for GUTIERREZ

Elvira Gutierrez, 91, a resident of Albuquerque, died on December 13, 2004. Elvira was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Gutierrez and her son, Medardo Gutierrez. She is survived by daughters, Eleanor Trujillo and husband, Arturo of Rio Rancho, Cathy Quintana and husband, Agapito, Jr., of Rio Rancho, NM and Mary Rose Gallegos of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Michelle Gutierrez, John Gutierrez, Judy Salazar, Kenny Quintana, Denise Montoya, and Diana Wood; great-grandchildren, Marrisa, Andrew, Arthur, Arlene, Alyssa, Jarick, Brianna, T.J., Kayla, Anthony, and Amanda; sister, Mary Romero of Espanola, NM. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and family. Elvira never worked outside her home but was a very hardworking lady all of her life. She always had a garden and canned and did all those things necessary to be the excellent homemaker she was. Rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary-Westside Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at El Pueblo Mission in El Pueblo, NM. Burial will follow at El Pueblo Catholic Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Arturo Trujillo and Agapito Quintana, Jr. Pallbearers will be John Gutierrez, Kenny Quintana, James Salazar, Alfonso Montoya, Paul Gutierrez, and Arthur Trujillo.
