Edith E. Hunter, 88, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2004. She is survived by sons, John Dale Hunter and fiance, Susan Hood, James Dennis Hunter and wife, Sandra and George David Hunter, all of Albuquerque; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother, J.B. Morris of Canton, TX; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a friend and neighbor, Jan Souter, of Albuquerque. Edith was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Elmer T. Hunter on September 11, 2004; son, Delbert; granddaughter, Denise Hayslip; and brother, Buckley Lee Morris. She was a devoted Mother to her children, loved her roses and flowers, and had a great love and talent in cooking. Services will be held on Thursday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel with Minister Herbert Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
